Upcycling Workshop with Quab

Quab DIY Tote, Hat & Denim Upcycling Workshop 🌀💛🪡 The idea behind this workshop is to give new life to leftover fabrics from our previous collections, all rooted in traditional Indian craftsmanship. Think beautiful colours, intricate patterns, unique textures and a variety of South Asian textiles! Guests can choose between customising a tote bag, a hat, or bringing their own denim pieces to upcycle! Whether it’s an old pair of jeans, a denim jacket, or something that’s been sitting in your closet unworn, this is your chance to give it a whole new life! We’ll provide a selection of fabrics, scissors, fabric glue, tote bags and hats. All you need to bring is your creativity (and your denim, if you’re choosing to upcycle!). There are no rules, just use your imagination, experiment with different fabrics and create something completely your own. Beyond the DIY experience, it’s a fun, hands-on way to immerse yourself in South Asian culture, discover the beauty of Indian textiles, and actually touch, feel and learn about the fabrics we use at Quab. Guests will also get to know a little more about our brand, the stories behind our fabrics, and have the opportunity to shop some of our pieces. At its heart, the workshop is all about creativity, celebrating Indian craftsmanship and finding new ways to give existing fabrics and forgotten wardrobe pieces a second life! 💛
